Markee Dragon, a popular Youtube user that publishes regular MMORPG content, has just released his interview with Negative Infinity, the user that claims to be responsible for the recent DDoS attacks.
Negative Infinity considers himself to be a Hacktivist and said he was responsible for taking down a couple of The War Z servers on December 30th, and then launched a full-scale denial of services attack on January 3rd, making the game unplayable for thousands of fans. He also said that he’s been doing similar things for over 15 years, including taking down some of “the biggest websites on the internet”.
The video goes into the details surrounding the games controversy including the duplication exploit that appeared after the wipe in November. The hacker claims that over $15 million dollars worth of Gold Coin items have been duplicated. Do you agree with his methods or do you feel it’s more damaging to the community than the developers?
